VW Camper on Natural Slate - Tillandsia Brachycaulos Abdita and Plagiotropica

The natural slate base contains a setting of a weathered VW Camper made of moulded sandstone with two air plant in a bed of reindeer moss and pebbles and is an ideal gift or feature decoration. Slate is a natural material and slight variances between settings is inevitable.

Brachycaulos Abdita
The Brachycaulos Abdita leaves have a slight velvety look and feel. colouring intensively red in strong sun at bloom time. The inflorescence drawn together into a head, appearing to be simple since the small spikes produce a few blue flowers. Brachycaulos Abdita is usually stemless and the leaves can spread up to 25cm across. It likes bright, sunny position with moderate damp.

Plagiotropica
The Plagiotropica species is a stemless plant. The adult plant grows to approximately 10 - 15 cm high, forming a rosette. The flower is white. It grows in high altitude forest 1,300 - 1,640m in El Salvador, Central America. It needs moderate watering and semi-shade conditions.
